Effects of fear

Fear can paralyze you and stop you from taking action to achieve your goals. In this article we are going to go look at some steps that will help you face your fear so you will go ahead and do what you need to do anyway. If you let fear stop you, it will just keep you from achieving greater success in life. There are few things you can do to get over.A fear of success is a form of self-sabotage. By fearing success, we limit ourselves, literally placing a limit on the amount we can achieve. Learn to recognize fear and the ways you sabotage your success--then your options are unlimited.
Some steps to win against fear are as follows:
1. Tell yourself you can do it. Use self-talk to encourage yourself and talk yourself through tough periods. Self-conviction is one of the keys to success.
2. Learn to give yourself credit. When you have made a step toward your goal, even a small step, acknowledge your accomplishment.
3. Evaluate past failures. A previous failure offers prime learning ground for avoiding future mistakes. Instead of belittling yourself for past mistakes, learn from them and move on.
4. Recognize your fears, make a plan, then take action toward your future success. Self-knowledge, planning and action are the keys to success.
5. Set attainable goals. Being unrealistic is one way to sabotage your future plans. By setting realistic, attainable goals you can take small steps toward your success and limit the fear that may accompany it.
6. Write out the benefits it will give you when you face your fear and take on the challenge. Write out as many as you can think of. This exercise will help you when think of everything you stand to gain by doing it.
7. You need to prepare your mind that you are going to do it no matter what. If you resolve to go ahead and put yourself out there, things will start to happen for you.
